This work is about power and fear. The disturbing scene occurs on the edge of a waterfall at night. Francisco Goya‘s “Saturn Devouring His Son”, 1820–23, depicts the Greek mythical God, Titan Kronos, who fearing a prophecy that his children would overthrow him, ate each one upon their birth. The prosthetic child’s leg represents a victim.
